Outline of Company

(Kiwa) BCS Öko-Garantie was established by Mr. Peter Grosch, former Managing Director in 1990. Today, more than 230 staffs stationed in Germany and overseas are doing certification works of organic products in more than 70 countries.

Registered Foreign Certification Organization (RFCO)

Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie was firstly registered in 2002 as Registered Foreign Certification Organization (RFCO) of organic products and re-registered in 2006, 2010 and 2014 under New JAS Law by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It is possible for overseas suppliers to affixed the JAS mark to products and export them to Japan if Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie certified the products according to JAS Law and the Japanese organic standard.
